Black Mountain Vandalism

Unfortunately Black Mountain, like many parks, has experienced vandalism. The rails of this small bridge were kicked in not long after it was built. Although Black Mountain is located just minutes from I-40 in Tennessee, it is still an isolated park.

Black Mountain is a great place to hike, boulder or rock climb. Overlooking the Grassy Cove and one of the easiest access points for the Cumberland Trail.

These rocks are just .1 of a mile easy hike from the spring house and the Black Mountain overlook.
