Florida Fatal Hunting Accidents

Below are a few of the fatal hunting accidents that have happened in Florida.

  • 2007 - Christopher Bland, 24, accidentally shot by his brother

  • 2006 - Charles Maclean III, 50, found after falling from his treestand

  • 2005 - Robert Taylor, 50, was shot and killed as he was preparing to hunt deer. 

  • 2005 - Austin Richardson, 13, died after being shot by 10 year old hunting partner

  • 2003 - Cade Wayne Miller, 13, shot by friend while cleaning guns preparing for hunting trip

  • 2002 - unknown hunter hunter killed while pulling loaded gun up to treestand
