Florida
Wildlife Management Areas (WMA's) are managed by the
Florida Fish & Wildlife
Conservation Commission (FWC). The WMA's are divided into 5 regions;
north central, northeast, northwest, south, and southwest.
Florida WMA's & Wildlife & Environmental Areas (WEA's) encompass more
than 5 millions acres. On 4 million of these acres FWC is a
cooperating manager working with other government agencies or private
landowners to protect wildlife and there environment while allowing
public access. |
