Backpacking Food List

The following is a list of basic food items I take with me Backpacking. Only you can determine how much to bring, it never hurts to have a little extra. I always bring at least 1 extra meal for every 3-4 days I intend on staying, and PLENTY of healthy snacks.

Ditty Moore beef stew (heavy)
Canned Soup (heavy)
Roasted Cornish Hen
Steak (pack frozen)

Beverages
Tea bags
Kool-Aid (sweetened)
Hot Chocolate
Spiced Cider
Coffee (Coffee Bags)


* Be sure to include extra lithium batteries and bulb for EACH light!!

** Double bag everything that you do not want to get wet!!
