National Park & State Park Violence

There is a lot debate going on about whether to allow handguns to be carried in National Parks, as well as many State Parks, National Forests and other public property around the United States.

 

The following (partial) list violent crime in some of our State and National Parks. The list is not meant to scare people away from parks, it is meant to inform visitors about potential hazards from both criminals and large predators.
