Chimney Tops - Great Smoky Mountains

Distance: 4 miles round trip
Difficulty: Strenuous

Steep hike to the top of two rock outcrops. This two mile hike gains about 1,200 feet in elevation giving a great view from the top!

Rocks can be dangerous especially when wet or icy. If you bring children supervise them closely.

Getting There - the trailhead is accessed from the Chimney Tops Area 6.7 miles south of Sugarlands Visitor Center just off of Hwy 441 (Newfound Gap Rd).
 
Trailhead: park in Chimney Tops Parking area between Sugarlands Visitor Center and Newfound Gap.
