North
Carolina hunters and outdoor enthusiasts are fortunate in that we have nearly
100 Game Land and Refuges available with
public access for hunting and other outdoor related sports. These
WMA's range in size from 200 acres to 95,000 acres. The
North
Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission oversees these Game Lands which are divided into
three regions; Mountain, Piedmont, and Coastal. We have some detailed information about
certain WMA's and we will continue to add additional WMA's as photos
and other information become available. |
