Ohio Fatal Hunting Accidents

Below are a few of the fatal hunting accidents that have happened in Ohio.

 

  • 2006 - Billy Prince, 20, accidentally shot by deer hunting partner

  • 2006 - Albert Klotz, 67, fell from a tree stand and died

  • 2006 - Trevor Ellerbrock, 27, was coyote hunting when he was shot by one of two other hunters.

  • 2005 - 12 year old boy shot by his older brother

  • 2004 - Trevor Beeney, 32, accidentally shot from 80 yards away by someone in his hunting party

  • 2004 - John Hughes, 24, found hanging in a tree 40 feet above the ground

  • 2003 - Joey Williams, 36, was fatally shot when a hunting companion slipped and fired his weapon
