Kansas Fatal Hunting Accidents

Below are some of the fatal hunting accidents that have happened in Kansas.

  • 2004 - Dalton Baty, 11, shot while deer hunting with brother

  • 2004 - Dr. Paul E. Young died Sunday after being struck with pellets from a 12-gauge shotgun. The other hunter believed he was firing at a turkey, but it turned out to be turkey decoys in Young's back pocket.
