Black Mountain in middle Tennessee offers a variety of
climbing opportunities ranging from excellent bouldering to short,
tough, lead climbs. The
rock are mostly short 40 footers but some are very challenging even
though they are short. There have been "sport" routes in
the past but most of these illegal bolts have been removed and
placing of additional bolts is forbidden.
