Red-spotted Purple

The coloring of these beautiful butterflies seems to replicate the toxic Pipevine Swallowtail. This Picture was taken September 27 at Edgar Evans State Park, on the shore of Center Hill Lake. The Red-spotted Purple has up to three broods per year here in Tennessee.
