Turkey Vulture

This Turkey Vulture was photographed in a Tennessee hay field just after the hay had been cut. He was probably finding snakes, rabbits or other small animals that were killed by the tractors mowing blades. Vultures have learned to examine recently cut fields because there is often something that has been killed accidentally.
