This photo of a
Carolina Wren nest with eggs was taken in Middle Tennessee. This nest was
built inside a small outbuilding, inside a bucket. Notice the entrance hole
is on the side and the eggs are completely enclosed in the dome nest. Other
places you might find a nest are hollow places in trees, hanging baskets,
mail box.
These Wrens do not migrate. They are similar to the Bewick's Wren but
larger. |
