life’s expression. Beverly has studied with such talents as nationally
known Rudy Coffing (Bothell, Washington), internationally known artist
Stanley Warburton (Lytham, England), Nationally known artists John Galucci
(Lake Placid, New York) and Lannie Little (Portland, Oregon).
Artist Beverly Hooks paints with a free flowing style between Expressive
and Impressionism. She recently indulged in an eight-month stay and study
of the English countryside. Her use of color and design is replicated in
the richness of value and movement.
Beverly has been represented by several galleries in the Northwest to
include the Evergreen Gallery & Kirkland Gallery in Kirkland, Washington;
The Bronze Duck Gallery in Leavenworth, WA. Reigning Visions Gallery in
Port Angeles, WA; LaLa Land Chocolate & Tea Room in Port Gamble, WA;
American Marine Bank, Silverdale, WA. Beverly is available and has been
successful with numerous commissions. Painting for commissioned clients in
the Northeastern, Southern, Northwestern states and California, Beverly is
the exclusive artist at the Poulsbo Tea House and Fine Art Gallery,
Poulsbo, Washington. As the author of a recent children’s book, she is
currently designing and illustrating the pages of her work.
The Hot Springs National Park Artist-In-Residence program is open to

Artwork created by Beverly during her residency will be displayed at the
Hot Springs National Park Visitor Center at the end of September. The
visitor center located in the former Fordyce Bathhouse is open 9 a.m. to 6
