The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area encompasses 90 miles of scenic gorges, dense forests, and
free-flowing river. The main gorge was formed by the Big South Fork of the Cumberland River. The Big South Fork
has numerous waterways or river sections for kayak, canoe and rafting
