county Tennessee Buck. This 175 lbs (live weight) buck has an inside
spread of 17 1/2" and I think the outside was 20". This buck was
taken on public land on opening day with a 30-06 using Hornady 150
grain btsp interloks. I was hunting by myself. I was only about 900
yards from the highway, but it was approximately 800 feet down to the
creek and 600 feet back up to the road. It took me 4 hours to get it
out and I had to have help from passing motorist to get him to my
truck over a mile away. |
