I shot him just after
sundown on 11/27/99 in a green patch in Wilcox County, Alabama. He
was 100 yards away, downed with a Browning A-bolt .270 using Hornady
Light Magnum ammo in 140 grain. He was a 4 1/2 year deer, a 9 point,
and did not weigh but 150 pounds. Our overpopulation of deer and pine
needles doesn't allow for much body size and thanks to a good rack
and small body he really looked big "on the hoof!"
You can see more of his harvests and find lot's of good hunting Info
at his web site

Swamp. Tell him I sent you. |
