  • L. Seeley Houk - Game Officer Houk was shot and killed. March 2, 1906
  • Joseph McHugh - Game Protector McHugh was shot and killed. The suspect claimed it was an accident and was found not guilty at trial. November 7, 1915
  • William Etheldred Shoemaker - Fish Warden Shoemaker was shot and August 25, 1921 and died from his injuries on September 22, 1921
  • John B. Ross - Game Protector Ross died. July 31, 1942
  • Raymond Leroy Schroll Jr. - Fish Warden Schroll drowned on the Susquehanna River below Williamsport, Pennsylvania. April 4, 1958
  • David L. Gore - Mr. Gore was shot and killed on November 11, 2010 while investigating the night time poaching of deer.
