  • Gary George Wohlfeil - Protection Assistant Alaska Department of Fish and Game was in killed in a airplane accident while conducting caribou surveys. March 5, 1964
  • John David Stimson - Alaska State Trooper Fish and Wildlife Protection died due to exposure after a helicopter crash near Cordova during a search & rescue mission. Stimson had given his survival gear to another passenger. January 14, 1983
  • David C. Churchill - Sgt. with Alaska State Trooper Fish and Wildlife Protection died of a heart attack on Sept. 16, 1998.
  • James A. Moen - Alaska State Trooper Fish and Wildlife Protection died in a plane crash while on patrol near Lake Iliamna, Alaska on June 25, 2001
