It looks like an eastern tent caterpillar.

Interesting, it's the exact same photo with two different names not just the same caterpillar, the same photo. I have about settled on Eastern Tent Caterpillar, but I wonder if the Lackey is just another name for the same caterpillar?

That's a good question. I think they are the same as that's a UK site and I think that is what they call it. I did a quick google with the term Lackey + caterpillar and most of the sites appear to be UK sites.
