Garlic Chives

Garlic chives in the flower garden that borders our house. Garlic chives are really easy to grow in our region (7), and they return year after year. They get small white flowers that look nice, and, the plant is edible.

We love to use garlic chives for cooking. Unlike garlic bulbs, we use the green stalks, fresh cut. One garlic chive stalk chopped into small pieces is usually added to spaghetti sauce, barbecue sauce, roasts, lasagna, etc.
