Common Name: Yellow Wood Sorrel
Scientific Name: Oxalis europaea
Range: Throughout
Flowering: May - October
Habitat: Roadsides, fields, old road beds
The Yellow Wood Sorrels flower is aprox 1/2" wide This Photo was taken at Standing Stone State Forest in mid October. The plant without flowers can easily be mistaken for clover. The leaves are edible but sour.
