Common Name:	Sweet Everlasting
Scientific Name:	Gnaphalium obtusifolium
Range:	Throughout North America
Flowering:	August - November
Habitat:	Edges of woods, Fields, RoadSides

This beautiful member of the sunflower family is fragrent and tiny, measuring only about 1/4" (10mm). The narrow leaves measure up to 4" long and are stalkless and fuzzy beneath.

This picture was taken in the Cades Cove area of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in October.
